In pasture, on W shoulder of E-W ridge. Circular area (32.2m N-S; 30m E-W) enclosed by modern field fence except WNW->NNW where original bank survives (H 1.5m) with external fosse (D 0.5m). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
