What is recorded here

Indicated is a collapsed Galway cashel where forgotten walls still guard the grass. It is a fairy fort in local story, but human hands may have built the ring before the legends arrived. The stones have fallen into pasture and overgrowth, yet the circular shape remains visible in the cleared land.

In recently cleared pastureland. Poorly preserved subcircular cashel (c. 60m N-S; c. 50m E-W) defined by a collapsed drystone wall, which is much-obscured by overgrowth.
