Fairy fort / stone ringfort

What is recorded here

In pasture, atop limestone hillock, on E side of stream; immediately on W side of disused farmyard. Roughly oval area (c. 25m E-W; c. 35m N-S) enclosed by dry-stone wall (int. H 1.4m; ext. H 2.3m; Wth top 2m). Wall has vertical external face but sloping internal face. No opening in wall apparent. Enclosing element abutted by field boundaries to WSW, SE and NE; field boundary which formerly abutted to NNW has been removed. Interior is completely overgrown by trees and bushes, except for small area inside wall to N. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 26 August 2011
