Situated on a gentle E-facing slope in undulating pastureland. The W half of a possible enclosure is depicted on the 1st ed. (1840) OS 6-inch map. The site is similarly depicted on the latest ed. although the outline is more irregular. Visible on an aerial photograph taken in 1974 (GSIAP, R 193/4). Not visible at ground level.
