Enclosure in Magheranenagh

Situated on a S-facing slope. Depicted on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure with a field boundary abutting the site at E and another near the S sector. By the 1903 ed. the site is less clearly defined, with only the E half hachured. The present remains consists of a small roughly circular area enclosed by a bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.63m) reduced to a scarp at S and an external fosse (Wth 4.5m; D 0.3m). A field boundary runs parallel to the N side of the enclosure.
