Situated close to the N shore of Lough Ourna. An island (dims. 20.2m N-S; 17.76m E-W) delimited or retained by a ruined, narrow, drystone wall (max. H 1m) with a landing area at N. The island may be entirely of artificial construction and was probably re-fortified when the tower house (TN015-048001) was constructed.
