What is recorded here
Situated on a slightly raised area in rocky grassland with good views in all directions. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). On inspection in 1999 this was found to be a circular enclosure (28m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by a loosely built wall comprising irregular limestone blocks and apparently of modern construction.
