Indicated

Situated on a marked SE-facing slope in modern forestry. Subrectangular enclosure (dims. 40m NW-SE x 35m NE-SW) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 1-1.8m; H 0.4-1.4m) with drystone facing on the NW and SE sides. On the NE and SW sides there is a steep drop to a gully outside the bank and a drainage fosse occurs inside the bank at the NE. The entrance (Wth 2m) is at the SE. No indication of a fosse or internal features. Shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as circular, and on the current edition as a small field.
