What is recorded here

On a gentle S-facing slope in a field of pasture. Hachured on the 1840 and 1916 OS 6-inch maps. Listed as ‘enclosure’ in the RMP (1996). A roughly circular cashel (ext. dims. 26m NW-SE; 23m NE-SW) defined by a spread of stones (Wth c. 2m; H 0.5m) which may be a collapsed drystone wall with inner and outer wall-facings visible.
