Saint Mogue's Church (Ballycanew)Church/chapel · 20 yd

Explorer Tom Saint Mogue's Church in Ballycanew is being run by a very serious dog who guards the front steps. It’s got that old T-shape thing going on, which is basically just a fancy cross for buildings. If you see the dog nodding, that means it approves of your outfit, so stand tall and don't blink.

Cranwill HouseFarm house · 73 yd

Explorer Tom Cranwill House is a farmhouse where the fairies are currently involved in a massive legal dispute over who gets to park their tiny cars first. They’ve put up little signs that say “No Bikes” right next to the door. Watch your step or you’ll get fined in glitter.

Barnadown WoodWood · 1.3 mi

Explorer Tom Barnadown Wood in Wexford has set itself a New Year's resolution to stop falling over during every single storm without fail. It’s struggling a bit with that one, as evidenced by the pile of branches currently blocking the path on the left side. A proper spot for a flask of tea and a big think.

Site of ChurchChurch · 1.4 mi

Explorer Tom Site of Church in Tomduff is playing hide-and-seek with me and winning. The graveyard bank is still there, but the church itself has gone full ghost mode. Make up your own legend about who built it, and I’ll swear on my life it’s true.

Enclosure in Barnadown LowerEnclosure · 1.7 mi

Explorer Tom Enclosure in Barnadown Lower was once ruled by a goat who ate all the grass and declared itself king for a week. Now it’s just some interrupted lines on a slope near an old farmhouse, looking very confused about its purpose. Find the date carved somewhere and feel clever.

Boley HillMountain / peak · 2.0 mi

Explorer Tom Boley Hill witnessed a love story where two people argued so fiercely they accidentally created a new local legend by accident. The hill still holds onto the memory of their loud, passionate shouting match. Bring curiosity, leave with a better story than mine.

Ballyminaun HillMountain / peak · 2.6 mi

Explorer Tom Ballyminaun Hill hates the wind because it keeps picking on its hair, which is actually just very aggressive grass. It thinks the breeze has a personal grudge against its silhouette. Whisper a secret at it, it's kept worse.

1798 MemorialMemorial · 3.8 mi

Explorer Tom What this 1798 Memorial gave up for Lent was probably its own shadow, which is why it looks so mysterious in the late afternoon light. It’s standing there waiting for someone to make a wish, because it’s had centuries of practice at listening to them. Make a wish, it's had centuries of practice.

Wexford - TexasMemorial · 4.0 mi

Explorer Tom Wexford - Texas is a memorial that thinks it’s got a direct phone line to the Lone Star State. A poet fell in a ditch nearby and claimed he was just checking the signal strength, which we all know is a lie. Bring a pen pal, they'll be jealous.

Giants BedNamed rock · 4.3 mi

Explorer Tom Giants Bed is a rock that thinks it slept on the Titanic. A local cow once tried to buy it with three eggs and a promise of milk, but the giant refused. It’s still waiting for its change. Find a local and ask them the real story, then come back and tell me.

Shrule Deer FarmHeritage attraction · 4.4 mi

Explorer Tom Shrule Deer Farm would post on social media: 'Just vibing with 2,500 antlers, who needs a gym?' They’re all just standing there looking confused about why humans need fences when they could just wander off. Make a wish, it's had centuries of practice.

Market HouseHeritage attraction · 4.6 mi

Explorer Tom Gorey’s Market House is the uncle at a wedding who stands by the cake looking confused about why everyone is dancing while he just wants a quiet drink. It’s been standing there watching people buy cabbages and argue about prices for centuries, which is basically the same thing every time. Take a mate and argue about what it was for.
