
What is recorded here
In pasture, atop limestone crag, on break in W-facing slope. Circular area (27.7m N-S; 26.7m E-W) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank (int. H 0.35m; ext. H 0.55m). A dry-stone wall (H 0.9m; Wth 0.65m) runs along top of bank SE->WNW; this is part of surrounding field boundary system. A low limestone ridge extends from external bank face at N for c. 14m before fading out. Bank is low and indistinct N->SE. Interior is under pasture but covered by mature beech trees along fringes; it slopes down to E.
