Indicated was a small single-ramparted ringfort on J. Looney's land in County Cork, measured at thirty yards across with a two-foot bank before a bulldozer levelled it in 1958. It sat in pasture on a gentle north-facing slope, visible on maps from 1842 to 1938, but now leaves no surface trace except memory and a hidden underground passage in its northeast quadrant. The fort disappeared so quickly that it became a warning about how little time human making survives when machines arrive.

In pasture, on gentle N-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure on 1842 and 1904 OS 6-inch maps; circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m) indicated on 1938 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; no visible surface trace of site. Bowman (1934, 312) recorded single-ramparted ringfort (diam. c. 30yd; bank H c. 2ft) on J. Looney's land with fosse infilled. According to Walsh (1964, 60), 'small single-ramparted ringfort...levelled by bulldozer in 1958'. Man-made underground passage (CO038-02502-) in NE quadrant (ibid.).
