A modernised holy well dedicated to St. Patrick. The cairns noted by Fagan (Bk. 19, 41) are no longer visible. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. The holy well at An Chill Bheag is associated with St. Patrick and is linked to traditional Catholic pilgrimage practices. While specific cures or folklore connected to the site are not well documented, such wells were commonly visited for general spiritual healing and blessings.
