Hutton Roof Crags reaches a height of approximately 305 metres (1,001 feet) and is part of the larger Kirkstone Pike range in the Lake District. The crags are composed mainly of volcanic tuff and basalt, formed during the Carboniferous period, and are a notable feature for hikers and geologists due to their striking rocky outcrops and panoramic views.
