Hut site in Releagh

In rough hill pasture, in a hollow and within a network of relict field boundaries (KE102-088011-). Described in 2000 as the remains of an oval hut site (4m N-S; 1.9m E-W) defined by a drystone wall (T 0.8m; H 0.6m) which protruded above the surface of the shallow bog. The S portion of the interior was raised (H 0.4m) and the N portion was cut (D 0.2m) into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. On a subsequent inspection in 2007 there were no visible remains of this hut site, the land having been reclaimed and reseeded.
