Hut site in Releagh

On the crest of a SE-sloping ridge and within a network of relict field boundaries (KE102-088011-). Described in 2000 as the remains of an oval hut site (4.4m E-W; 2.9m N-S) defined by a drystone wall (T 0.85m; H 0.4m). The partially grass-covered lower courses of the wall protruded above the surface of the shallow bog. There was an entrance break at SE. Rubble was strewn along the perimeter of the hut site. On a subsequent inspection in 2007 there were no visible remains of this hut site, the land having been reclaimed and reseeded.
