Hut site in Maulcallee

In rough unevenly surfaced hill pasture, on blanket bog, on the NE-facing slopes of Knocknagullion and within a network of relict field boundaries (KE091-114009-). The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 4.2m) defined by the lower courses of a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.5m) which protrudes above the surface of the bog. Rubble is scattered along the perimeter of the hut site. Relict field walls abut the hut site at E and W. There is a fulacht fia (KE091-114006-) c. 30m to the SE.
