Hut site in Maulcallee

In rough unevenly surfaced hill pasture, on blanket bog, on the NE-facing slopes of Knocknagullion and within a network of relict field boundaries (KE091-114009-). The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 3.7m) defined by a partially grass-covered, collapsed drystone wall (T 0.65m; H 0.3m). The hut site is best preserved along the E arc. The NE portion of the interior is raised (H 0.35m) to create a level interior which is obscured by rubble. There is a fulacht fia (KE091-114001-) c. 70m to the WSW.
