In rough hill pasture, on the SW-facing slope of Mangerton Mountain. The remains of a circular hut site (2m N-S; 1.8m E-W) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.7m; H 0.35m). The S portion of the interior is raised and the N portion is cut into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. Loose stones are scattered within the interior and on the downslope externally. A rock scarp at N shelters the hut site. Another hut site (KE085-024004-) is c. 20m to the NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
