In rough hill pasture, on the SE-facing slope of Mangerton Mountain. The remains of a circular hut site (2.6m E-W; 2.5m N-S) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.4m) SSW-SSE. The hut site is open to the S. The S portion of the interior is raised and the N portion is cut (D 0.4m) into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. Loose stones are scattered within the interior and on the downslope externally. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
