What is recorded here

In rough hill pasture, in a hollow, on the S-facing slope of Mangerton Mountain. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.5m) which is sheltered to the W by rising ground. Another hut site (KE085-032002-) is c. 36m to the SE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
