Hut site in Lettercannon

In rough pasture, on level ground, on the S bank of Thureehouma stream. The remains of a rectangular hut site (4m NE-SW; 1.3m NW-SE) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.7m; H 1.4m) and by the smooth, vertical face of outcropping rock which forms the SE side. There is an entrance (Wth 0.6m) in the centre of the NW wall. There are loose stones scattered around the interior. The hut site is obscured by a dense growth of ferns.
