Hut site in Knocknabro

In rough heather-clad hill pasture, on a break on a S-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Clydagh River. The remains of a D-shaped hut (5.6m N-S) defined by a heather-covered, collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.3m) with a straight S side (L 3.3m E-W). The drystone wall protrudes above the surface of the shallow bog. A break in the wall at W may indicate an entrance. There is an enclosure (KE076-009----) c. 28m to the ESE and a relict field wall (KE076-009008-) is immediately to the S.
