Hut site in Knocknabro

In rough heather-clad hill pasture, on a break on a S-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Clydagh River. The remains of a rectangular hut (3.5m N-S; 1.8m E-W) defined by a heather-covered, collapsed, drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.55m). There is an entrance (Wth 0.4m) in the centre of the W wall. Heather and rubble obscure the interior and the remains of the S wall are scattered downslope to the S. Two other hut site (KE076-009004-, KE076-009006-) are c. 26m to the S and c. 5m to the E, respectively. There is a relict field wall (KE076-009008-) in the immediate vicinity to the SW.
