Hut site in Knocknabro

In rough heather-clad hill pasture, on a break on a S-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Clydagh River. The remains of an oval hut (3.3m N-S; 1.8m E-W) defined by a heather-covered earth and stone bank (Wth 0.6m; H 0.2m). The stones protrude intermittently from the bank. The S portion of the level interior is raised (H 0.4m). Another hut site (KE076-009005-) is c. 5m to the W. There is a relict field wall (KE076-009008-) in the immediate vicinity to the SW.
