Hut site in Inchincoosh

In rough hill pasture, on a terrace on a W-facing slope. The remains of a circular hut site (4.6m N-S; 4m E-W) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.5m). The W portion of the interior is raised (H 0.2m) and the E portion is cut (D 0.4m) into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. A thick growth of ferns and a scatter of stones occur within the interior. Two other hut sites (KE085-039002-, KE085-039005-) are c. 60m to the E and there is an enclosure (KE085-039004-) c. 60m to the SSW.
