Hut site in Gour

In rough peaty hill pasture, on a sheltered terrace, on a NW-facing slope overlooking a small NE-SW boggy valley. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 3.5m), which are largely hidden by long moor grass, defined by an intermittent row of upright slabs (T up to 0.1m; H 0.1-0.85m) which protrude above the surface of the bog. Faint traces of the tops of stones protruding from the bog suggest the possibility of an outer row. A gap (Wth c. 0.7m) at the SW may indicate a possible entrance location. A possible standing stone (CO127-062002-) and an enclosure (CO127-050003-) are c. 20m and c. 40m to the N, respectively.
