What is recorded here
Vague traces of a D-shaped structure, possibly that described by Macalister (1899, 266) as 2.66m in internal diameter with a .53m wide entrance gap at S.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 1319. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
