National Monument No. 10060. Clochán na mBardán: In rough rocky pastureland overlooking Coumeenoole bay to W. A group of 7 drystone-built structures, none now more than 1.5m high. The best-preserved is a circular building now incorporated into a later sheep-fold, and apparently containing a Man-made underground passage (Macalister 1899, 270-2). D: 3.6m. H: 1.5m. T: 1m. At least 3 of the other structures are merely sheep-shelters but the remainder may have been hut sites, though their ruinous condition renders interpretation difficult.
