Glanmane holds a small stone hut on a steep slope above Tralee Bay, its walls barely rising forty centimeters from the heather. The structure faces east toward the valley entrance, inviting anyone inside to watch the sea appear and disappear through cloud. Sheep still graze the thin peat around it, unaware they tread upon a room built for human warmth and visibility.

Situated on a steep E facing slope near the entrance to a N-S valley with extensive views north to Tralee Bay. The land use is rough grazing for sheep with exposed rock outcrops, thin peat cover and heather. A sub-circular hut site (ext. dims. 3.2m E-W x 3.5m N-S) with a possible entrance down slope to the E.
