In rough hill pasture, on a W-facing slope, in the valley of Coomeelan stream. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2.6m), defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.65m; H 0.2m), which protrude above the surface of the bog. The wall is best preserved SE-SW. The W portion of the interior is raised (H 0.2m) and the E portion is cut (D 0.2m) into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. The interior is level. Two other hut sites (KE103-039002-, KE103-039003-) are c. 10m to the SE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
