Two conjoined huts cling to the inner flank of a rath bank in wet pasture at the foot of Flemingstown mountain. The eastern chamber keeps a visible entrance while the western chamber seems closed, forcing whoever lived there to enter through one door and navigate the joined dark. Earthen walls and faint stone facing still mark the small dwelling, preserving a cramped domestic choice rather than a grand display.

Sub-circular univallate rath (KE045-030----) is situated in rough, wet pasture, on a gentle NNW facing slope at the foot of Flemingstown mountain. A pair of conjoined huts (KE045-030001- & KE045-030002-) abut the stone-faced inner flank of the bank at S. They are roughly circular in plan and measure c. 4.7m in diameter internally. The only visible entrance lies in the E side of the E hut. The W hut appears not to have had an independent entrance. The huts are enclosed by earthen banks, .45 to .8m high, with some traces internally and externally of drystone facing. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne.
