Hut site in Fehanagh

In undulating rough hill pasture, on the NE-facing slope of Knockowen Mountain. The remains of an oval hut site (int. 3.1m N-S; 2.5m E-W) defined by the lower courses of a collapsed drystone wall (T c. 0.65m; H 0.55m) that are moss and grass covered. Rubble from the collapsed upper courses is scattered internally and externally along the perimeter. There is an entrance (Wth 0.45m) at E. The external N wall of this hut site is abutted by another hut site (KE109-055002-). There is another hut site (KE109-055004-) 2m to the E.
