What is recorded here

In rough hill pasture, on an uneven area of the NE-facing slope of Knockowen Mountain. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2.5m) defined by the lower courses of a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.1-0.65m) W-N and by a totally collapsed wall N-W. An upright slab (H 0.65m; 1.2m x 0.15m) forms the external face of the N wall. The lower course stones protrude above the blanket bog. Many slabs were noted in the rubble from the collapse. There is a hut site (KE109-048001-) immediately to the NW and another hut site (KE109-048006-) is 12m to the SE.
