What is recorded here

In a hollow, in an undulating area of rough hill pasture, on the NE-facing slope of Knockowen Mountain. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2.8m) defined by a poorly preserved, drystone wall (T c. 0.55m; H 0.75m) which is covered in moss and grass. The hut site is cut (D 0.75m) into the upslope at NW. Material from the collapsed wall along the NW arc is scattered within the interior. There are two hut sites (KE109-055004-, KE109-055006-) 30m to the W and 30m to the N, respectively. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
