What is recorded here

Doonmacfelim holds a circular stone hut eight metres wide, its double walls still standing beside a cashel seventy-seven metres south. The western entrance faces the low pasture where karst rocks break through grass, inviting wonder about who lived there, what they kept inside, and whether the smaller internal wall divided sleep from work. The stones have watched seasons turn for centuries, unchanged except for weather and forgetting.

On a low SW-facing prominence in rough pasture, with karstic outcrops all around. Within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL008-109001-). This circular hut site (8.5m N-S; 8.3m E-W) is defined by a double-faced stone wall (Wth 1.1m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.4-0.8m) with a rubble core. The wall-faces are made from limestone slab uprights. There is a clearly defined entrance (Wth 1m) at W. The N-sloping interior is bisected by a NW-SE wall. There is a cashel (CL008A003007-) c. 77m to S.
