What is recorded here

On a gentle S-facing slope in rough pasture, overgrowth and limestone outcrop, within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL008-109001-). This suboval enclosure (int. dims. 25m E-W; 21.5m N-S; ext. dims. 30.8m E-W; 23m N-S) is defined by a wall of partly grass-covered large boulders (max. L 1m; H 0.7m; Wth 0.5m) at NNW-WSW, and by a scarp (max. H 1.3m; Wth 5m) down to the interior elsewhere (WSW-NNW). A grass-covered field wall (max. Wth 3m; H 0.6m) is traceable running NW-SE in the N interior, and extending beyond the perimeter of the enclosure. Several large stones in the centre of the enclosure may be associated with this wall. In the S interior a grass-covered curving stone wall (L 7m; Wth 0.4m; H 0.4m) runs parallel with the enclosure wall, at a distance of 3-4m away.
