Hut site in Derrynacaheragh

In rough hill pasture, in a sheltered hollow on a S-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Feabunaun stream and within a network of relict field boundaries (KE102-062007-). The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2.6m) defined by a collapsed stone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.3m) which protrudes above the surface of the bog. There is an entrance break at NE. The S portion of the interior is raised (H 0.3m) and the N portion is cut slightly into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. There is a field boundary wall 2m to the E.
