Hut site in Derrynacaheragh

In rough hill pasture, at the foot of outcropping rock on a S-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Feabunaun stream and within a network of relict field boundaries (KE102-062007-). The remains of a D-shaped hut site (1.2m NW-SE) defined by a collapsed, curving drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.4m) and by a straight NW side (L 2.7m NE-SW) formed by the linear face of the outcropping rock. The surviving walls are roughly constructed and the base stones are embedded in peaty soil. There is an entrance (Wth 0.65m) at NE.
