Hut site in Derreenacahill

In rough hill pasture, on the S-facing slope of Coombane Hill and within a field system (KE084-022----). The remains of an oval hut site (2.8m N-S; 2.2m E-W) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.6m). The N portion of the interior is cut (D 0.6m) into the upslope. The wall (H 0.2m) survives best N-S. The remainder of the wall (H 0.1m) S-N survives as a grassed-over mound of stones. Loose stones are scattered on the downslope, externally.
