In a sheltered E-sloping hollow, on bog, within a network of relict field boundaries (CO091-010001-). The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 5.2m) defined by a stone wall (T 0.7m; H 0.2m) which protrudes above the surface of the bog. The interior is raised (H 0.2m) at E and cut (D 0.8m) into the upslope at W to compensate for the slope. There is a hut site (CO091-010010-) c. 26m to the NE and another hut site (CO091-010005-) c. 30m to the SW. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
