Hut site in Coomlumminy

Located within The Pocket, a broad steep-sided depression at the head of the Blackwater river valley. An intact, circular hut of corbelled drystone construction (KE082-068----), its roof closed by a series of flagstones. A lintelled entrance at W, 1.2m high; its jambs mostly collapsed. D: 1.5m x 1.1m. Located 18m to W, a roughly circular hut, now reduced to a mound of stone collapse (KE082-068001-). Two upright stones mark the probable entrance at E. D: 2.4m x 1.8m.
