Hut site in Castletowncooley

That is the smallest chamber in the whole fortress, tucked into the north-west shadow where the main hall cannot reach. It may have belonged to a keeper, a child, or someone who preferred watchfulness to company. The main ringfort makes a claim to power, but this little oval makes a claim to life: close enough to touch, small enough to remember, and set aside from the grand display.
