Hut site in Cappagh (glanarought By.)

In rough pasture, on the W bank of a S-flowing stream and sheltered to the N by a steep slope. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2.6m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.4m). The interior is built up at S to compensate for the hillslope. There is an adjoining hut site (KE093-095001-) immediately to the N. Another hut site (KE093-095002-) is c. 25m to the SE. A relict field boundary (KE093-095004-) is in the immediate vicinity to the S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
