Hut site in Cappagh (glanarought By.)

In rough pasture, on a SW-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Sheen River. The remains of a D-shaped hut site (3.6m NE-SW) defined by a bank (Wth 0.8m; H 0.4m) of earth and stone with a straight SW side (L 4.4m NW-SE). The interior is cut into the slope at the NE and built up at the SW to create a level surface. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
