What is recorded here
Ballymakellett still holds a possible cluster of huts inside the southeast quadrant of its ringfort. Small rooms or shelters may have crowded that corner while the main hall stood elsewhere. The distinction between a hut and a chamber has blurred, but the residence remains clear: several people lived there, not one.
