Two shadowed hollows touch like a figure of eight at the north-west edge of a partly levelled rath in Ballyglass Middle. The northern basin is about five metres across and holds scattered field stones, while the southern one has almost surrendered its shape to time. They may have been hut floors beside a larger dwelling, perhaps belonging to someone who moved stones, raised a roof and left only a shallow dimple behind.

At a possible rath (MA103-040001-). Towards the NW edge of the probable original extent of the partly levelled rath, there are two conjoined hollows, on a N-S line, each ringed by a low rim/bank (Wth c. 2m; H 0.3-0.65m), producing an overall ‘figure of eight’ configuration. The southern-most hollow (MA103-040003-) is poorly defined. This, the northern-most hollow (overall diam. c. 5m, int. c. 3m; D c. 0.3m) is more clearly defined. However, the interior is partly filled with loose field stones, and cannot be fully examine. It may be a hut site associated with the rath.
