What is recorded here
Situated on a gentle SE facing slope on the E side of Drom Hill, Roughly circular area KE035-038---- is enclosed by a single earthen bank.
A circular stone hut (KE035-038001-) occurs a little SW of the centre of the enclosure. Adjoining this to NE is a raised area formed by a grass-grown spread of loose stones. The centre of this area is slightly depressed and may mark the site of a 2nd (KE035-038002-) and possibly a 3rd hut (KE035-038003-).
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 400. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
