Hut site in An Coimín (tc An Mhín Aird)

Roughly circular cashel KE054-075----, located about 150m W of KE054-076----, contains the ruined remains of 2 stone huts. Directly W of KE054-075001- is a 2nd larger hut with a maximum internal diameter of 5.6m; the wall is c. 1.5m thick but is not preserved to any great height. The entrance passage at N is .95m wide. Three chambers, possibly sheep-shelters, have been built into the thickness of the wall of the hut. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne.
