What is recorded here

In rough gorse-covered grazing on the lower SW-facing slopes of Sea Hill with views SW over Bull's Head to Dingle Bay. The remains of a square clochaun (int. 2.6m NE-SW; 2.6m NW-SE) consisting of the lower courses of a well-constructed stone wall (Wth 1.8m; H 0.5m at NE). The level interior is raised (H 0.6m) at SW and cut into the bank at NE (D 0.4m) to compensate for the hillslope. Large stones are visible in the lower courses of the NE wall. A break in the damaged wall at SE may have been the entrance. Rubble is scattered in the interior and along the downslope to the SW.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
